Position: Programming Coordinator
The Role:
As the Programming Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the best integration of programmable elements onto each page on the Kaboose Network of sites, including editorial, sales, marketing and commerce elements. The goal is to maximize the yield of page views, registrations and revenue from each page. The Network Programming Department is involved with cross functional projects and you’ll have a chance to learn valuable new skills like advanced search engine optimization and analytics. This role itself will evolve and grow with the company’s expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of advertiser campaigns, optimizing their on-site placement for best delivery and performance.
- Direct and facilitate communications between departments.
- Analyze and prioritize the needs of each department according to the company’s top level interests.
- Managing multiple projects that involve coordinating with staff in the editorial, client services, sales, marketing, metrics departments as well as with product development project managers.
- Provide creative direction for on-site promotion of content and advertising features.
- Search engine optimization analysis and execution, directing the editorial staff and in some cases making HTML tag or copy changes yourself through the website CMS.
- Continual analysis website reporting to identifying pages that need to be optimized as well as site navigation challenges.
- Paid search integration – making sure that PPC campaigns are driving traffic to the best pages possible.
- Lead the planning and development of new pages on the site and new micro-sites that create more inventory and programming opportunities.
Your Qualifications/Experience
- 1 to 3 years internet industry experience.
- Superior web proficiency, including familiarity with common web apps.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Comfortable using website analytics to gain insights into inbound traffic and web page performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Well versed in internet usage and trends.
- Basic understanding of HTML, proficiency a strong plus.
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles a plus.
- Experience using a content management system a plus.
